I wrote about becoming a true pirate the other day, and I’m here to say the path has been found and stepped on. Ok, that made no sense what so ever, but I’m sure you get my point.
After a bit of searching and trying I have found a system that is literally flooded with missioneers. Level 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 ‘s all over the place. And yesterday marked the day I choose to become a true annoyance in the world of New Eden. I’m talking about ninja looting. The art of stealing other peoples hard work. Now I imagined people to go nuts on me, insult me, or even attack me as I got suspect status for doing so. No such luck. Hell, most people just bail the second you warp on to them. Really weird. Seeing two battleships warp away the second you approach them.
Enter the dead space area and people just warp off, leaving all that precious behind. Thank you!!
Finding more targets. Yes, having two accounts is serious unbalanced but a shit load of fun.
This is the only guy who private messaged me and started smack talking. A little before this he also had a Vexor alt (or main) with him that was salvaging and tractor beaming all the wrecks. For some reason he was also suspect status. I considered engaging him, but I had no clue about the Vexor power, the drones he had (would have). And dying there looked really stupid to me.
In hindsight I should have just engaged him. His drones would have given me a bit of a fight, but they should not have been a problem I believe. Then I could have worked on his Vexor and at least have annoyed him some more. That is my main problem atm, all the different ships in EVE, constantly having to search what they are etc …
But I didn’t just give in to this smack talking dude. No, instead I just waited until he cleared all, and when he started engaging the final NPC necessary to complete his mission, I just slowboated over right next to the NPC, and waited until he killed it. I then looted everything from said NPC, and made sure to thank the dude in question.
So for about an hour of doing this, I got 3.4 million ISK. Ok, for you veterans that doesn’t even qualify as pocket change, but for a little fish like me, that is easy money. I’m still searching my place, and every little bonus is nice to have. And I have to say, this ninja thing is really amusing. I’m excited to see when I finally get someone to shoot at me, or drop a bounty on me.
Things to consider for me:
– Getting a ship with more cargo space.
– Maybe getting a mobile depot in a safe spot.
– Being more aggressive.
– Being a hell of a lot more taunting.
– Equipping a MWD to get to the wrecks faster.
– Sitting on top of a Noctis instead of trying to out loot it.
