Mondays, yuck. Even pirates hate mondays.
I stumbled upon 4 players doing their thing in a level 4 mission. I warped right on top of them, and started inspecting their wrecks. This is so cool as a pirate. You can open other peoples wrecks and take a look inside, but as long as you don’t take anything, you don’t turn suspect.
They became a little suspecious (duh!) and target locked me. Yeah, my -0.9 security status doesn’t help either.
I love it when they do that. Who knows they might just missclick and poof, in comes CONCORD to save little old me. It didn’t take long for them to start inviting me to convos. I played the helpless newbie, being lost and all in the evil world of New Eden. All the while following them from gate to gate, inspecting loot, sitting in front of their Mobile Tractor Unit. And after a while, in the last complex, they dropped their locks on me. Goddamit, are you serious? Here I am, with negative status, following you around, inspecting your loot and all, acting noobie-like, and you then actually believe me? Wow, I must be a better actor than I thought …
And the fellow I was talking to was just a friendly nice person. I could feel his sympathy for my newbienish radiating from my screen. Now, I’m a big believer in Karma. So here I was, about to steal a potential something, from a person that was genuine being nice to me. Yeah, that is one of the downsides of actually talking to your victims.
But I was feeling happyfeet, and decided to not fuck with Karma today. So I thanked the dude in question for his friendly attitude, and left the scene (of no crime).
Feeling tired (long day at work) I switched over to my scanning alt for one more job, and was gifted with free lootz by the KARMAQUEEN herself. You see !!! Karma always comes back at you !!
9.750.000 million of free loot. Just found a player that was having problems with a mission. He left the complex, and all the loot was mine. Precious loot. My precioussss. Thank you Karmaqueen /bow
