And still being a loot stealing ninja in Sinq.
I warped in to a dudes plex, I can’t remember but I think he was piloting a battleship. All the wrecks were untouched and waiting to be looted. As I was closing in on the wrecks, he suddenly warped out. Eh? Weird … Why would you leave all this loot for a pirate to ninja?
Anyway, I took advantage of the situation, and went over from wreck to wreck to shift through all the shinies. At a certain moment, I notice my alt goes offline. Oh crap, there we go again with the DDos attacks and the server kicking everyone off.
So I immediately warped out to the station to get all the fancy loot out of my cargo bay. Three seconds after, my main got kicked out of the game as well. Great stuff CCP.
When I got back in I raced over to the plex to get more free lootz, the owner of the place returned as well, this time in an Ishkur. Aha, so he did see me. And he took off to get a frigate to kick my ass if I turned suspect. So the server going down helped me there for once …
Feeling vigorated by my lucky strike I figured it was time to be a vicking pirate. Aggressive, dominant, shoot first ask questions in another lifetime.
I wanted to shoot mobile structures. And one thing you see a lot of are Mobile Tractor Units. What I didn’t know is how tough they are. Damn they can take a beating. Granted I don’t do that much DPS in my shitty Incursus, but still.
The player in question was flying a Myrmidon battlecruiser, and was about 80km away from me and the MTU. As soon as I engaged the MTU he turned and headed straight to me.
Now, I’m not sure if I can take on a battlecruiser in my shitty Incursus, with my shitty SP. So I figured why not give it a try. To bad the victim didn’t agree, and at about 15% left he scooped the MTU in his bay, and warped out. Darn. Need more DPS.
The assault frigate skills are still a freakin’ waiting game. Argh, annoying. Maybe I need to look for a faction frigate.
Thanks to the 19.9 million ISK ‘donation’ from the first victim, I have now made more than 100 million ISK by stealing loot from wrecks. It might not be the most honorable lifestyle, but it pays the bills. Not bad for casually being a pirate. I’m sure there are other activities that make a lot more ISK, but I’m having fun, and that is what matters the most.
