Gimme gimme your loot

It is remarkable how fast and easy it is becoming to steal / take other peoples loot. The little itchy feeling I had when starting this path of villainy, indicating some level of ethics, is completely gone.

Instead it is replaced by a ‘How much can I find this time?’ dominant feeling. And the constant ‘pressure’ of being suspect is also gone. You know the little shaky feeling you get when you engage in to something unknown? Because that is what high-sec ninja-looting and salvaging is … People can shoot at you any time they want, but 9 times out of ten, they just don’t.

It’s cool. When I warp on someones deadspace complex, I start checking the best spot to do my ninja stuff. And I have learned to absolutely love Mobile Tractor Units. They make the life of a ninja so much easier.

So, what did yesterdays pirate ways bring to me?

Loot, plenty of loot.
I have made some changes to what I fly. Seeing how most of the time, people don’t bother to engage me, I am now flying an Imicus. It has better cargo space (400), and I have fitted it with two salvage miners and a couple of salvage drones. I also fitted a microwarpdrive, which has proven to be very very usefull already. Then some cheap fits for an increase in velocity and speed.

In the event someone does engage me, I am now planning on having a nice little ship to get back in to and make use of the engagement timer.

But like I said, mostly not going to happen. Often people jump away, and hope you leave because you’re getting bored, sometimes they try to harras you by bumping your ship. Yesterday I had a guy that was so annoyed he started shooting his wrecks. I told him to stop doing that, because they were already empty, and because missiles weren’t cheap and he shouldn’t waste them.

I often need to make little trips back to the station, to drop of all the stolen goods. Definately need to get something to counter this.  And another thing I’ve been today as of late. After a minute or so I convo the ‘victim’ I’m robbing / about to rob. I have noticed it throws them of a bit. I’m always very friendly and maybe a little wacky, in order to confuse them. Shoot or not? Is this guy serious? That kind of thing.

And sometimes you get lucky escaping with all the lootz.

Yep, life as a pirate / scum / villain. You choose …
